Provided is an air bag device for a passenger seat, capable of being inflated to a correct position to protect a passenger. To achieve this, the air bag device for a passenger seat according to the embodiment of the present invention includes an airbag suit which supports a housing with an air bag; is coupled to a vehicle body and has a guide hole which guides the air bag to be inflated; and a crash pad which covers the guide hole, is coupled to the air bag chute, is torn by the expanding force of the air bag, and rotates around a hinge unit so that the air bag can escape from the guide hole. A protector protruding between the airbag and the hinge unit is formed in the airbag chute. |
