The present invention provides a chip inductor which includes: an inductor body which includes metal compounds; a coil part which is formed in the inductor body; a substrate which is formed on the lower side of the inductor body; and first and second external electrodes which include a pair of upper and lower connection parts which are formed on the upper and lower sides of the substrate to face each other and a pair of conductive vias which pass through the substrate to connect the upper and lower connection parts. Both ends of the coil part are electrically connected to the upper connection parts of the first and second external electrodes.
