Disclosed is a wind power generator with a vibration damping means. According to the present invention, the wind power generator comprises a plurality of blades rotated about a rotating shaft in order to generate power; a nacelle to which the blades are fixated; a tower having the nacelle fixed on the top thereof; a connecting rod connected to one side of the tower or the nacelle and formed to be long downward; and a pendulum coupled to the lower side of the connecting rod, wherein the pendulum has a changeable natural frequency. According to the present invention, the natural frequency of the pendulum can be changed by adjusting the length of the connecting rod depending on the rotation speed of the blades. Therefore, the frequency of the pendulum can be changed as the frequency of the wind power generator in which variable speed operation is performed is continuously changed during the operation, so that the load caused by vibration is reduced in a wide area. |
