The present invention provides a power supply device which includes an input unit which receives AC power, a control unit which includes a control integrated circuit to output a switching signal according to a control signal and a switching element which selectively outputs the output of the input unit by the switching signal, a transformer unit which generates a reference voltage by transforming the output of the control unit, and a power saving unit which performs the burst operation of the control integrated circuit according to a dimming signal from the outside. Therefore, while using a flyback power supply device using a power factor compensator, a response speed is secured by a pre-output unit and standby time is reduced by blocking the pre-output unit in a normal operation. Also, when a dimming signal has a low level, power is reduced in a standby mode by the burst operation of the power factor compensator by corresponding to the dimming signal with the low level. |
