The present invention relates to a multimedia apparatus for a vehicle having a mirroring function of a smart phone, which is capable of providing a mirroring function by being connected to a smartphone. The apparatus according to the present invention includes an MHL connector connected to a smartphone in an MHL scheme; an MHL receiver for receiving a signal of the smartphone received through the MHL connector and converting the signal into a video signal to output the video signal; a video decoder for decoding the video signal transmitted from the MHL receiver; a touch screen including a touch sensor and a display panel, for displaying an image and detecting a touch; a display driver for displaying the selected video signal on the display panel of the touch screen; a touch controller connected to the touch sensor of the touch screen to transmit a touch signal to the controller; a hardware button; a Bluetooth module for transmitting the touch signal to the smartphone in a Bluetooth scheme; a video switch for outputting the video signal selected by the control signal to the display driver; and a controller for receiving the touch signal from the touch controller, and receiving a manipulation of the hardware button to control the video switch according to an operation mode such that a default signal is normally selected and a video signal of the smartphone is selected if the smartphone is connected. |
