The present invention relates to a content sharing feature. Disclosed are a content sharing method and the configuration of a content sharing system thereof. More specifically, the content sharing method includes the steps of: forming a communication channel for content item transmission when a first terminal and a second terminal are selected to be in a content reception mode or a content transmission mode; checking whether at least a part of the first terminal and the second terminal is overlapped; offering a content item of the first terminal to the second terminal or vice versa depending on an input event through the communication channel, with a part of the first terminal and the second terminal is overlapped.
