The slide has a locking mechanism (12) comprising an elastic blade (13) that comprises a movable end (18). The movable end carries two bolts (14a, 14b). The blade is deformable between locking and unlocking positions and comprises two elastic branches (15a) that respectively carry the two bolts. Two teeth (23b) and the two bolts are placed such that the two bolts are locked on the two teeth in two sets of relative positions between two profiles (8), respectively. The relative positions are shifted relative to each other at a non-zero shift distance in a longitudinal direction. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle seat.
