Provided in the present invention is a refrigerator comprising: a compressor which compresses a refrigerant; a condenser wherein the refrigerant which has passed through the compressor is condensed; capillary tubes which lower the pressure and temperature of the refrigerant that has passed through the condenser; an evaporator which vaporizes the refrigerant that has passed through the capillary tubes; a first connecting tube which connects the compressor with the condenser; a second connecting tube which connects the evaporator with the compressor; and a heat exchanger which makes the first and second connecting tubes come in contact so as to perform a heat exchange between the tubes. According to the present invention the running efficiency of the refrigerator can be improved, thereby saving energy.
