Disclosed in the present invention are a route guiding apparatus and a route guiding method using a touch display. The route guiding apparatus comprises an item providing unit which provides items corresponding to multiple points on a map; a proceeding route setting unit which sets a proceeding route based on the provided items; a display unit which displays the list of the items on a touch display; and a list managing unit where the list senses a touch gesture generated on a displayed area on the touch display in order to change the order of the items in the list. The proceeding route setting unit can modify the proceeding route based on the changed order.
