<p>The present invention relates to a method and a system for distributing a mobile phone trial application and includes distributing and registering the trial application specifying an expired date on a marketplace by an application developer, confirming whether the trial application has expired by comparing an installation date with an execution date date by using communication time when the downloaded trial application is installed in the mobile phone by the selection of a user, and formally using the application after settling the payment through a purchasing function by showing a purchasing message to the user when the trial application is expired. According to the present invention, from a developer′s point of view, distribution costs and effort can be reduced by distributing only one set instead of distributing a shareware and a commercial ware, from a marketplace manager′s point of view, additional costs can be reduced because a separate server for the shareware does not need to be made, and from a user′s point of view, no additional data traffic is generated because the user does not need to download the commercial ware separately, thereby increasing the satisfaction of purchasing an application as payment cab be made after fully using the functions, and reducing the rate of cancelation of payments.</p> |
