EFFICIENT CNU CALCULATION METHOD FOR HIGH SPEED LDPC DECODING IN DVB-S2

The present invention relates to an efficient method of calculating a coax network unit (CNU) for decoding a high-speed low density parity check (LDPC) based on a Digital Video Broadcasting-Satellite 2 (DVB-S2). According to the present invention, the efficient method of calculating the CNU for decoding the high-speed LDPC is configured to calculate the optimal CNU for high-speed decoding with a SC-NMS method to which a self-corrected method to an NMS (the efficient method of calculating the CNU for operating high-speed to obliterate a critical path and to reduce a clock cycle) assigning zero to a current edge through regarding no reliability if a code is changed by comparing values of the edge in the previous iteration with the value of the edge in the current iteration during decoding repetition.
