THE IPTV CHANNEL SWITCHING TIME AUTOMATIC MEASUREMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD WITH IMAGE PROCESSING

The present invention relates to a quality measurement method using a system for measuring an automatic channel changing time of a set-top box (STB) of a subscriber in a network environment providing an IPTV service. A device for automatically measuring a channel changing time transmits channel information to an infrared transmitter by connecting the rear end of the STB which is the subscriber of an IPTV service. The device for automatically measuring a channel changing time improves the IPTV service by evaluating the IPTV channel changing time by analyzing the channel information and an image with image processing of the image and the channel information transmitted to an image capture board by changing the channel according to a transmitted channel number in the STB and deducting an accurate channel changing time value of the STB.
