Disclosed are an apparatus for generating a terminating resistance of a differential input mode communications, and a differential input mode communications apparatus. The apparatus for generating a terminating resistance of a differential input mode communications comprises a first circuit unit which includes a first ground terminal and operates only when the first ground terminal is connected to ground; a second circuit unit which includes a second ground terminal and operates only when the second ground terminal is connected to the ground; and a terminating resistance generation unit which generates a terminating resistance when one of the first ground terminal and the second ground terminal is not connected and thus only one between the first circuit unit and the second circuit unit operates.
