<p>The method involves arranging a metallic core (2) in a molding cavity, where a plastic material (10) is injected in the cavity. The cavity is arranged such that the material molds on top of a part of an inner face (4) of the core. The core molded in another cavity is arranged. Another material (14) is injected in the latter cavity, where the latter cavity is arranged such that the latter material molds on the top of an outer face (6) of the core. A portion of the outer face of the core is over molded by the former material during injection of material in the former cavity. An independent claim is also included for a reinforced structural part including a plastic body and a metallic core.</p> |
