The present invention relates to an electromagnetic wave shielding material using insulator and a method for producing the same. The method for producing an electromagnetic wave shielding material according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a step of spinning glass fiber; a step of forming a metal coating glass fiber; a step of forming a sheet by using the metal coating glass fiber; and a step of successively stacking insulator, the sheet and insulator.
