发明名称 PACKAGING STRUCTURE OF THE GAS SENSOR FOR THE USE IN THE MOLTEN METAL
摘要 The objective of the present invention is to provide a gas sensor package which prevents damage to the sealing characteristic of a sealing member by a thermal shock caused by a rapid temperature increase when the gas sensor package is inserted into a molten metal, and prevents degradation of the characteristic of the gas sensor when hot gas sensor is directly in contact with the air while the gas sensor package is being pulled out from the molten metal. The gas sensor package includes a cap combined with a package frame so that the entrance of a connection hole, which connects inside an empty space to the outside, can be located on a place higher than the lower end of the package frame. Therefore, the gas sensor can be prevented from suddenly touching the hot molten metal when being inserted into the molten metal. In addition, the molten metal can remain and be solidified in the empty space of the cap when the gas sensor is discharged from the molten metal so that a measuring electrode can be isolated from the outside air.
