The present invention relates to secondary control devices for a crossing gate, and more particularly, to secondary control devices for a crossing gate, which are installed in a barrier rod for a crossing gate restricting or opening a passageway to be rotated to the right or left at a place where an access should be controlled, such as a railroad crossing or a parking lot entrance, in order not only to restrict passage of vehicles, motorcycles, and bicycles but also to restrict people from crossing over or under the barrier rod, thereby preventing accidents and effectively controlling the passageway. The present invention is to combine multiple secondary control devices to the barrier rod at regular intervals so that the secondary control devices can play a role as rods for blocking the upper and lower part of the barrier rod by being vertical while the barrier rod is blocking the passageway when the crossing gate operates. Also, the secondary control devices are equipped with a pinwheel where a luminous reflecting tape is attached, thereby operating more effectively without using electric energy due to the pinwheel rotated by natural wind in bad weather, such as heavy wind and rain. In addition, when the crossing gate is open and the barrier rod becomes vertical, the secondary control devices naturally become vertical, based on the principal of the center of gravity, in proportion to the moving speed of the barrier rod, thereby not interfering with the passageway. |
