Disclosed in the present invention are a route guiding apparatus and a route guiding method for displaying a flexible menu using a touch display. The route guiding apparatus comprises: an item providing unit which provides sub-items for items corresponding to multiple points on a map or for at least one item among the above items; and a display control unit which displays at least part of the inventory of the above items through a touch display. Here, when the items displayed on the touch display include the sub-items, a user interface can be set in order to select the indication of the sub-items. In this case, the display control unit can change the indication part of the inventory on the touch display according to the direction of a dragged event generated through the touch display, can indicate the sub-items of the item relevant to the user interface according to an event generated according to the user interface, can change the indication part of the inventory so that the position of the relevant item on the touch display can move to a preset position, and can indicate the sub-items by adding the sub-items below the relevant item in the inventory. |
