The present invention relates to a method for device-to-device communications, a mobile device using the same, and a method for controlling device-to-device communications. The method for device-to-device communications comprises the steps of receiving resource allocation information for device-to-device communications and transmission characteristic information for device-to-device communications from a base station (BS); and performing direct communications with a counterpart terminal by using the resource allocation information for device-to-device communications and the transmission characteristic information for device-to-device communications. The transmission characteristic information can include the number of redundancy versions to be transmitted within one or more continuous transmission time sections.
