A method for message conversation in an electronic device includes the processes of: receiving a message from a transmitter using a plurality of messaging services through a corresponding messaging service; determining whether identification information of the corresponding messaging service and user ID of the transmitter registered in the corresponding messaging service are mapped to identification information of the transmitter registered in a receiver as a group; and displaying the received message and messages included in the mapped group when the received message is mapped in a thread form as the group.
