Disclosed are a green IT maturity assessment model system and a model development method thereof. The green IT maturity assessment model system according to the present invention includes a candidate index selection unit for selecting a candidate index based on an index of an example model analyzed before; a validity analysis unit for performing verification of validity on a candidate index selected by the candidate index selection unit, and calculating an added value; and a detailed index embodying unit for embodying a detailed index of the candidate index selected by the candidate index selection unit according to the verification of validity performed by the validity analysis unit and the calculated added value.
