The present invention relates to a timing controller and, more specifically, to a timing controller capable of distributing a load concentrated to W sub-pixel, when converting input RGB data into WRGB data, to R sub-pixel, G sub-pixel, and B sub-pixel when the load is concentrated to the W sub-pixel, a driving method thereof, and a flat panel display device using the same. The timing controller according to the present invention comprises: a receiving unit for receiving the input RGB data from an external system; a data alignment unit for distributing the load concentrated to the W sub-pixel to the R sub-pixel, the G sub-pixel, and the B sub-pixel when the load is concentrated to the W sub-pixel when converting the input RGB data into the WRGB data; and a transmitting unit for transmitting to WRGB data to a data driving unit. |
