Provided are a solenoid valve operation device and a method for detecting a fault in a solenoid coil. The solenoid valve operation device according to an embodiment of the present invention compares the voltage generated based on the total current flowing in at least one solenoid coil among multiple solenoid coils with normal voltage and determines faults in at least one solenoid coil or in operating actions, based on the comparison. Therefore, the device can detect whether or not the solenoid coils and operation IC have faults by using a more simple circuit, thereby reducing the number of parts to reduce the volume, weight, and manufacturing costs, and significantly reducing monitoring time. |
