The method involves detecting a state of securing elements (4) in backup unit (3) of vehicle, by using control unit (6). Each securing element is associated with electrical component (5) of vehicle. The detected state of each securing element is displayed on display. The control unit is configured to control the backup unit of vehicle according to change in state of securing elements so as to restore previous state of securing elements.
