The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a portable terminal near field communication (NFC) antenna, more particularly, to a method, for manufacturing a portable terminal NFC antenna, which is capable of directly forming an NFC antenna on a portable terminal case or a portable terminal battery pack case. A method for manufacturing a portable terminal NFC antenna according to the present invention includes: a case preparation step of preparing a portable terminal case or a portable terminal battery pack case; a hydrophobic film forming step of forming a hydrophobic film on the entire surface of the case by precipitating the case in a hydrophobic-material solution; a laser irradiation step of irradiating an NFC antenna circuit-patterned region of the case with laser, removing the hydrophobic film of the surface and roughening the surface of the circuit -patterned region after the hydrophobic film forming step; an NFC antenna circuit forming step of forming a circuit pattern plating layer on the circuit-patterned region through electroless plating after the laser irradiation step; and a ferrite sheet attachment step of attaching a ferrite sheet on the case to cover the circuit forming plating layer after the NFC antenna circuit forming step.
