PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a silver ink composition suitable for application to print methods that use high-viscosity high-concentration inks such as screen printing and flexographic printing; and a conductor which is obtained using the silver ink composition.SOLUTION: The silver ink composition is obtained by blending a silver carboxylate having a group represented by the formula "-COOAg" and one or more nitrogen-containing compounds that are selected from the group consisting of amine compounds having 25 or less carbon atoms, quaternary ammonium salts, ammonia, and ammonium salts obtained by reacting the amine compounds or ammonia with an acid. The amount of the blended nitrogen-containing compound is less than 4 mol per mole of the blended silver carboxylate. The conductor is obtained by forming silver metal using the silver ink composition. |
