PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for more accurately detecting an event of a game machine component is detached.SOLUTION: A component replacement detection device includes: a characteristic value detection part for continuously detecting a characteristic value indicating an electrical characteristics of a passive element by applying a voltage to the passive element disposed in a component detachably attached to an apparatus; and a replacement determination part for determining whether the component has been replaced, on the basis of a change in the characteristic value detected by the characteristic value detection part. The component replacement detection device may further includes: a replacement information registration part for registering, in a replacement information retention part, replacement information indicating an event of the component having been replaced if the apparatus is not operating when the component is determined to have been replaced; and a notification control part for causing a notification device to notify the outside of an event of the component having been replaced if the apparatus is operating when the component is determined to have been replaced. |
