PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical calibration device and a medical calibration method capable of executing different calibration and performance measurement without using a different phantom.SOLUTION: A medical calibration device 10 according to the invention includes: a support part 50 for supporting an X-ray absorber having a radiation source or a prescribed CT value; a linear bar 60 for linearly movably supporting the support part; a fixing part 20 for rotatably supporting the linear bar 60 around a rotation axis and fixable to the end part of a top board 30; and a control part 1201 for executing a control to make the linear bar 60 rotate around the rotation axis, while making the support part 50 linearly move along the linear bar 60 in order to realize a plane radiation source by a radiation source or in order to realize a plane absorber by the X-ray absorber.
