<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent press-fit burr generated through assembling of a sleeve of a hydraulic auto-tensioner for auxiliary equipment from being mixed in working fluid.SOLUTION: A lower end of a sleeve 4 is press inserted into a sleeve fitting hole 3 at a bottom upper surface of a cylinder 1, a lower end of a rod 5 is slidably inserted into the sleeve 4 to form a pressure chamber 6 within the sleeve 4. A return spring 8 is assembled between a spring seat 7 at an upper part of the rod 5 and the bottom upper surface of the cylinder 1 to bias the rod 5. A reservoir chamber 14 is formed between the cylinder 1 and the sleeve 4, an oil passage 15 communicating between the reservoir chamber 14 and the pressure chamber 6 is arranged between the sleeve 4 and the fitting surface of the sleeve fitting hole 3, and a check valve 17 that is closed when a pressure within the pressure chamber 6 becomes higher than a pressure in the reservoir chamber 14 is assembled into the lower end of the sleeve 4. The lower end surface of the sleeve 4 is abutted against a divided bottom surface of the sleeve fitting hole 3 and a burr generated when the lower end of the sleeve 4 is press fitted into the sleeve fitting hole 3 is held by the divided bottom surface of the sleeve fitting hole 3 and the lower end surface of the sleeve 4.</p> |
