The present invention addresses the problem of providing a workpiece machining device with which reduced machining precision is less likely to occur. The workpiece machining device (1) is provided with: a headstock (6) on which a workpiece (9), which has a through hole (90) extending in the Z-axis direction, is mounted; a tool base (4) capable of moving in the Z-axis direction and the X-axis direction; and a rotating tool unit (2), which is mounted on the tool base (4). The headstock (6) comprises a support member (63), which is capable of moving in the Z-axis direction and has a main shaft side contact section (630) on the Z-axis end. The rotating tool unit (2) comprises: a tool body (20) having a tool side contact section (200), which the main shaft side contact section (630) is able to contact from the Z-axis direction; and a tool (21), which projects from the tool body (20) and is rotatable. The workpiece (9) is machined using the rotating tool (21) by moving the tool body (20) in the Z-axis direction with the main shaft side contact section (630) in contact with the tool side contact section (200). |
