PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection device capable of reducing the occurrence of flicker and the occurrence of image blur.SOLUTION: A projection device 10 projects an image on a display unit 27 through emission of light from a light source 26, and includes: detection means 21 for detecting flicker information indicating the likelihood of the occurrence of flicker on the basis of input image information; and control means 23 for controlling the number of times of light emission of the light source 26 within a time period during which the display unit 27 displays an image of one frame, according to the flicker information detected by the detection means 21. |
