PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce capacity of a memory of a captured destination and access band width while occurrence of overwriting with overflow of data is avoided when video data being an object of high image quality video processing is captured.SOLUTION: An image processor includes: an encoding section for encoding video data in a raster scanning direction and writing it in a capture memory; and a decoding section for reading data for the number of fields required for high image quality video processing from the memory to decode data. The encoding section is allowed to estimate a size of encoded data of the video data for one screen on the basis of a size of the encoded data to front division data by one when division data obtained by dividing the video data for one screen into a plurality of pieces of data in the raster scanning direction is encoded and is allowed to perform processing for increasing a quantization parameter when the estimated encoded data size exceeds idle capacity of the memory when encoding for one screen is started. |
