PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leakage detection device capable of decreasing the capacity of a coupling capacitor.SOLUTION: A leakage detection device 100 includes: a pulse generator 2; coupling capacitors C1 and C3 charged by the output pulse of the pulse generator 2; an artificial leakage circuit 4 artificially bringing a battery 300 into a leakage state; a switch SW1 for switching a connection state of the coupling capacitors C1 and C3; and a switch control portion 10 for controlling the turning on/off of the switch SW1. In a self-diagnostic mode, the switch control portion 10 turns off the switch SW1, thereby connecting the coupling capacitor C1, the coupling capacitor C3, and the artificial leakage circuit 4 in series to the pulse generator 2. On the other hand, in a normal mode, the switch control portion 10 turns on the switch SW1, thereby connecting the coupling capacitor C1 and the coupling capacitor C3 in parallel to the pulse generator 2. |
