<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an ink filling operation to a sub tank while pigment components in a main tank are settled.SOLUTION: In the case that it is determined that ink in the sub tank is not filled and that a lapse time from the mounting of a main tank is equal to or more than a predetermined time, an operation of filling ink to the sub tank from the main tank without accompanying a recording operation by controlling the acceleration of a carriage. Thus, an ink filling operation can be performed before pigment components are settled.</p> |
