The hydrostatic swash-plate machine has two groups (4,6) of cylinder-piston units, where the groups have multiple cylinders fixed to a housing. The pistons (16a,16b,18a,18b) are arranged axially in the cylinders in a displaceable manner. The working chambers (20a,20b,22a,22b) are limited on the cylinders (12a,12b,14a,14b) and the pistons. The working chambers are brought with a high pressure (P) or with a low pressure (T) in a pressure medium connection. The swash plate surface portions (26,28) are connected with each other in a rotary manner.
