The present invention provides a sentiment-based inquiry processing system comprising: an index construction unit for dividing at least one document into at least one segment, extracting an attribute keyword indicating an attribute of an object of an opinion written in the segment and a sentiment keyword indicating a sentiment of a document writer of the attribute from the segment to generate an attribute-sentiment pair, and constructing an index including the content of the segment and the attribute-sentiment pair; an index storage unit in which the index is stored; and an inquiry processing unit processing an inquiry based on an index stored in the index storage unit to search for and return a document stating an opinion related to the inquiry or an object stated in the opinion related to the inquiry.
