A fly-trapping apparatus for use in households and public places. The apparatus comprises a power mechanism (3), a turntable (2) for placement of an attractant, and a trapping box (4). The turntable (2) is driven into rotation by the power mechanism (3). At least one radial flange (21) is provided on the upper surface of the turntable (2). The trapping box (4) is arranged above the turntable (2). A passage that allows flies to fly into a box body cavity of the trapping box is provided at the bottom of the trapping box (4). By providing the turntable that rotates slowly, by placing on the surface of the turntable the attractant that is attractive to flies, and by arranging the trapping box above the turntable, the present invention is capable of luring flies to enter automatically and unawarely into the trapping box thus being trapped, and provides great convenience and high fly-trapping rate. The present fly-trapping apparatus is structurally simple, easy to manufacture, reduced in costs, safe, and free of environmental pollutions. |
