Disclosed are an electronic book playback device, method and system for generating a sound changed when a page of an electronic device is switched. The electronic book playback device includes: a display unit for displaying book content; an auditory information output unit for outputting auditory information related to the book content displayed on the display unit when a page flipping command is input from a user; and a control unit for controlling the input unit, the display unit and the auditory information output unit. The auditory information is configured by allocating different sounds according to the number of remaining pages, allocating different sounds according to the number of pages to be flipped, or allocating different sounds according to a flipping direction. The different sounds can be variously changed according to a frequency, an amplitude, a duration time and a period. |
