PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop a vehicle in traveling in an early stage.SOLUTION: When a theft signal is received by an on-board communicator (S1), a vehicle is determined to be in traveling or not (S2). If the vehicle is traveling, a warning is issued that the vehicle is forcedly stopped (S3), and safe conditions when the vehicle is stopped are determined (S4). If the safe conditions are met, an automatic transmission is controlled to be in a neutral state while the vehicle is traveling (S5). As a result, the vehicle can be quickly stopped even though the vehicle is traveling. |
