<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a drop in power supply efficiency even in the presence of variation in output characteristics of a solar cell unit.SOLUTION: A power supply system includes; a solar cell unit having a plurality of unit solar cells; a reference solar cell unit; a characteristic measurement unit for measuring output characteristics of solar cells; a power converter unit for converting power generated by the solar cell unit in accordance with a command value; and a control unit. The control unit performs processes of; estimating an optimum operating point on the basis of output characteristics of the reference solar cell unit measured by the characteristic measurement unit; outputting a command value corresponding to the estimated optimum operating point to the power converter unit; having the characteristic measurement unit measure output characteristics of the solar cell unit if a difference between an expected value and (actual) power value of the output power of the solar cell unit at the estimated optimum operating point is a predetermined amount or more; detecting an optimum operating point on the basis of the output characteristics of the solar cell unit; and outputting a modified command value corresponding to the detected optimum operating point to the power converter unit.</p> |
