PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-generating material which exhibits excellent adhesion to a member that is to be adhered to, and which generates a large volume of gas per unit of time even when a silane coupling agent is included.SOLUTION: A gas-generating material 11a according to the present invention comprises: a binder resin; a gas-generating agent that is an azo compound or an azide compound; and a silane coupling agent comprising an amino group.
