[Problem] To provide a load cell capable of reliably preventing deformation due to overloading in a torsional direction and further capable of improving development efficiency and assembly efficiency for load cells. [Solution] A load cell (10) comprises: a strain body (12) that is a Roberval mechanism which has thin sections (18) formed therein and in which the ends of a pair of top and bottom parallel beams (14, 15) are integrally connected with a stationary section (16) and a movable section (17); and an overload prevention stopper (30) that is provided between the beams (14, 15) and fixed to the stationary section (16). A leading end (32) of the stopper (30) is disposed in a stopper engaging concave section (19) that is provided in the inner face of the movable section (17) and that extends in the width direction. The stopper leading end (32), formed to be wider than the movable section (17), has a shape that projects to the exterior of the movable section (17) in the width direction. |
