An ophthalmologic apparatus comprises a focusing part which focuses a returned beam from the fundus of an eye to be examined, a first driving part which drives the focusing part based on an index image obtained by allowing a photographing part to photograph the returned beam from the fundus which is generated from an index which is projected to the fundus by a projection part, and a second driving part which drives the focusing part based on the contrast of an fundus image obtained by allowing the photographing part to photograph the returned beam from the fundus which is irradiated by a lighting part after the first driving part drives the focusing part. |
