PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooler which has a strong capillary force, does not receive the effect of a gravity force, has a sufficient flow rate of actuation liquid and hardly causes deterioration of transportation function.SOLUTION: Web fibers 28 are formed with metal fibers 26, a nonwoven cloth 31 comprising the web fibers 28 is sintered and, thereby, a sintered sheet 32 constituted by joining web fibers 28 to each other is obtained. The sintered sheet 32 is provided so as to be fitted to an inner wall of the heat pipe 3 and be almost tightly adhered to the top end of the rib 20 formed between grooves 19, 19. Pure water is reliably transported with a strong capillary force by means of the fine metal fibers 26 in addition to capillary force of the grooves 19 without receiving the effect of the gravity force, the sintered sheet 32 is almost tightly adhered to the grooves 19 formed on the inner wall of a heat pipe 3 such that flow rate of such an extent that pure water is not exhausted by evaporation of the pure water can be adequately retained and, therefore, transportation function of pure water is also hardly lost further more. |
