摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately correct excess or shortage of a laser diode emission amount, improving the reproducibility of an image.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: an image processing device; and an image forming part for exposing a photoreceptor with light emitted by a laser diode, and performing development to form an image. The image processing device includes: a modelling part 75 for determining a degree of each of n-piece of individual pixels influencing a light-emission amount of an n-th pixel on the basis of a light-emission amount of the n-th pixel when the laser diode is caused to emit light with respective pixel values of n-piece of continuous pixels varied; an estimation part 76 for extracting, from image data, a focused pixel and n-1-piece of pixels positioned immediately before the focused pixel, adding the individual pixel values of the extracted n-piece of pixels, with the respective values weighted in accordance with the degrees of influence of the n-piece of individual pixels, the degree determined by the modelling part 75, and calculating an estimation value of a light-emission amount of the focused pixel; and a light-emission correction part 77 for correcting the pixel value of the focused pixel by using the estimation value and minimizing a difference between an expected value and the estimation value of the light-emission amount of the focused pixel.
