PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection needle for making a needle tube penetrate through a thin blood vessel having a thickness of approximately 100 μm to be able to inject a therapeutic fluid into the blood vessel through the needle tube.SOLUTION: In an injection needle 1 provided with a needle tube 3 having a discharge port of a therapeutic fluid at a needle tip and a needle base 2 for supporting the needle tube 3, the needle tube 3 includes: a penetrating tube 32 where the discharge port is formed; a main needle tube 31 that is thicker than the penetrating tube 32; and a reinforcing tube 33 for reinforcing the main needle tube 31. The penetrating tube 32 provided at a distal end of the main needle tube 31 satisfies the dimension condition that a length is less than 7.0 mm (not inclusive of zero), an outer diameter is equal to or less than 70 μm (not inclusive of zero), and an inner diameter is equal to or less than 40 μm (not inclusive of zero). |
