<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination system of an escalator making it possible to readily mount illumination switches, with which a handrail illumination unit and bottom illumination unit are manipulated, on a control board, and relatively easily mount the switches even in a mounting area within the limited control board.SOLUTION: The present invention includes a relay 2 that inputs a signal of an illumination switch 1 which is formed with one switch, and includes a contact 3, analysis means 4 that is connected to the contact 3 and analyzes a manipulation pattern represented by on and off signals produced by continuously manipulating the illumination switch 1, a handrail illumination relay 5 that controls a handrail illumination unit 9 and includes a contact 7, and a bottom illumination relay 6 that controls a bottom illumination unit 10 and includes a contact 8. When the manipulation pattern of the illumination switch 1 becomes consistent with a predetermined signal pattern that is stored in advance, the analysis means 4 controls a concerned one of the handrail illumination relay 5 and bottom illumination relay 6 so as to actuate the handrail illumination unit 9 or bottom illumination unit 10.</p> |
