<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a canister type vacuum cleaner having high performance and high stability.SOLUTION: A canister type vacuum cleaner 1 includes a main body to which a hose 3 is fitted. The main body includes: a chassis; a dust separation unit 5 carried by the chassis; and an inlet assembly for carrying a fluid from the hose 3 to the dust separation unit 5. The dust separation unit 5 includes an inlet 12 located at the base of the dust separation unit 5. The inlet assembly includes: an insertion port 16 fixed to the chassis; and a hose joint 17 rotatably fitted to the insertion port. The hose 3 is fitted to the hose joint 17, and the insertion port 16 is projected into the inlet 12 to support the dust separation unit 5 and also carry a fluid to the dust separation unit 5.</p> |
