PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strain body allowed to be downsized, capable of securing mechanical strength and having high dimensional accuracy in thickness and width.SOLUTION: A strain body which is used for a load cell and allowed to be deformed by transmission of load is obtained by press-molding and sintering metallic powder containing at least vanadium and chrome and containing iron as a maim component. The strain body includes: a rectangular strain area having a line symmetry shape, placed on a center and extending in the same direction as an axis of symmetry; two first arm parts extending in parallel with the axis of symmetry; a first connection part extending in a direction crossing the axis of symmetry and connected to the one end of the strain area and the first arm parts; two second arm parts arranged closer to the strain area than the first arm parts and extending in parallel with the axis of symmetry; and a second connection part extending in a direction crossing the axis of symmetry and connected to the other end of the strain area and the second arm parts. One of the pair of the first arm parts and the pair of the second arm parts receives load vertical to the strain body and the other of the pair of the first arm parts and the pair of the second arm parts is fixed on a support body. |
