PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electric motor for a vehicle, which reduces an eddy current loss by reducing the amount of magnetic flux for coil interlinkage by making a radial distance between an edge-wise coil and a tooth tip longer on a rotational-direction delay side than on a rotational-direction advance side.SOLUTION: A concentrated winding coil 4a is configured by being wound in an edge-wise wound manner around a tooth 3b. A distance t2 between a delay-side coil part in a main rotational direction 11 of the concentrated winding coil 4a and a leading end surface of the tooth 3b is longer than a distance t1 between an advance-side coil part in the main rotational direction 11 of the concentrated winding coil 4a and the leading end surface of the tooth 3b. |
